Fridays Ltd is a leading investor in Free Range egg farming and is one of the longest established Free Range egg producers in the country.
Following discussions with our supermarket customers we now intend to phase out all our colony egg production and concentrate on Free Range and Barn egg production. This move mirrors changing consumer demand and supermarket plans to sell only Free Range and Barn eggs in the future. This will require substantial investment in new buildings and facilities.
Eggs are widely recognised as a healthy nutritious food and consumption is rising by around 5% each year. The UK leads the world in Free Range egg production and we hope to play our part in this British farming success story.
